Let yourself be tempted by a Champagne day trip. Just 2 hours from Paris, you can step right into the heart of Champagne. This wine tour will begin by visiting a prestigious cellar in Reims, capital of Champagne followed by a visit to the jewel of the capital of Champagne, the Reims Cathedral. This city known as the "City of Kings" is home to no fewer than three UNESCO World Heritage sites. During the tour of Reims, you can admire its architectural history, Art Deco facades and monuments before enjoying a meal in a traditional French traditional bistro.
On the Champagne route, our wine tour will be punctuated by Champagne tastings and the discovery of culinary treasures. Between two tours of Champagne cellars, our food culture specialist will stop at the lighthouse at Verzenay, overlooking acres of Champagne vineyards and its Champagne museum.
During wine activities of the day, you will learn how Champagne is made and the history of the most prestigious Champagne houses, such as Moët & Chandon, Mumm, Pommery or Mercier (amongst others).
In order to complete our wine getaway to Reims and Champagne, our guide will show you Epernay and the world famous Avenue du Champagne.
