You will discover a museum rich in exhibits retracing the scientific history of rockets, the various means of space exploration, and the daily life of the cosmonauts in detail, from the 1920’s to today.

With your guide, you will not only understand the reasons of the Soviet domination of space, but you will also discover the role and current involvement of the Russian Federation in space. You will visit a life-size model of the MIR Space Station, and discover the unique characteristics of each of the spacecrafts, including the Soyuz vessels.

In addition, your guide will tell you stories about the Soviet space conquest. Do you know who was given one of the puppies of Strelka, the second canine-cosmonaut and hero of the USSR? The Museum of Cosmonautics is a must-visit destination for space and space-conquest enthusiasts.
